The biggest revelation in Philippine history is near!

From Blue Clip Films we present to you File no. 777.

It  is a short film that plays with conspiracy theories, urban legends and events in Philippine history that tells a story of an intern in the Department of Foreign Affairs who becomes the catalyst for the revelation of the biggest cover-up in Philippine history. The film re-imagines the urban legend on the alleged events after the supposed death of the Philippines’ premiere dictator in 1989 leaving audiences with one question in mind, what if President Ferdinand Marcos is indeed alive. This explains the idea of having the title “File no. 777”.

I had fun doing this film of course together with my production mate namely: Roland Corpus, Isaiah Bruce, Renz Barairo, Mark Villanueva, Peter Mendoza, Cheena Salas, Kathrice Paredes, Kaye Talabox, Jonah Cruz, Kathleen Aguilan and Caroline Ildefonso.

According to Kath it was a suicidal Sunday for all of us. We tried our best to have a 1-day shoot for our film. It was a 27-hours straight production of File no. 777.  :)

Thanks to all people behind our Films to Ate Lang (for the make up and *), for 1st Call Grip for the equipments, to all locations na hindi nagpabayad sa amin and of course sa lahat ng talents namin na naging matiyaga sa shooting. It was indeed a tiring moment for all of us, di nga ako nakapasok kanina but it feels so good na one down na kami.

I’m not a fan of pinoy movies nor kimerald, some may say I’m “corny” but I did watch the movie…

Together with my good friend Keith, I decided to watch Paano na Kaya.

As most people would say, the best person to fall in love with is your best friend.

Mae Chua (Kim Chiu) and Bogs Marasigan (Gerard Anderson) have been best friends for too long. Mae fell in love with him but Bogs has a girl friend Anna (Melissa Ricks). After Bogs breaks up with long time girlfriend, Mae has done nothing but be there for Bogs, even putting Bogs’ needs before hers. Mae unintentionally professes her love for him. Bogs was shocked but later realized the things Mae did for him. They decided to find their way through their new found relationship. Everything was perfect until things get complicated when Anna comes back to try to fix things with Bogs.

Putting my self in Mae’s shoes, it was really hard to believe that Bogs really loves her after  seeing him kissing other girl especially if that girl is her ex-girl friend.

We may think that Mae was just a rebound and Bogs is still in love with his ex. The 3-month rule in One More Chance may not be applied here in the movie. It made me realized that the fact Bogs decided to make Mae her girl friend, he was indeed in love with her.

” Hindi dahil wala pang 3 months nung nagbreak sila at naging kayo rebound ka na”

Some may or may not agree to this but in my opinion guys may not be showy with what they really feels, there may be awkward feelings when their ex is around, they may act strange or get irritated when you talked or asked something about their ex, they may sometimes remember their ex or at least see some resemblance of their ex with your action but it does not mean you are being rebound.

The fact that a guy chooses you above his ex means he loves you.

Wala yan sa tagal… mas matagal man naging sila kung ikaw naman ang pinili niya, rejoice and be glad! Do not doubt, above all trust is very important.

Anyway, the movie was pretty good although if I will compare it with “one more chance” still “one more chance” is the best. The story was  cliché but I can say that they tried hard to give it a new approach that instead of focusing on the falling in love with your best friend idea, they focused it on whether Mae was just a rebound or not.

I was also impressed with the acting of Kim Chiu, she really improve a lot ♥

Oooops!! It’s not my relationship status !

It’s Complicated is a movie of my ever dear favorite actress Meryll Streep (OMG!).

Her acting in this movie is just sOooo amazing!

I feel so depressed after watching this movie It’s a sad ending! So much complicated about everything!

This movie is just an example that even though how much you love someone and how much that someone loved you back, there are instances that in the end it can never be the two of you.

Jane (Streep) is the mother of three grown kids, owns a thriving Santa Barbara bakery/restaurant and has–after a decade of divorce–an amicable relationship with her ex-husband, attorney Jake (Baldwin). But when Jane and Jake find themselves out of town for their son’s college graduation, things start to get complicated. An innocent meal together turns into the unimaginable–an affair. With Jake remarried to the much younger Agness (Lake Bell), Jane is now, of all things, the other woman.

Caught in the middle of their renewed romance is Adam (Martin), an architect hired to remodel Jane’s kitchen. Healing from a divorce of his own, Adam starts to fall for Jane, but soon realizes he’s become part of a love triangle.

Should Jane and Jake move on with their lives, or is love truly lovelier the second time around? It’s…complicated.

A must watch movie!

Hey there! again, i’ll make my movie review.. I enjoyed watching movies these past few days!! isn’t it nice haha :)) Thanks to my dear brother for downloading movies from the internet! Soo much “kuripot” !

Now I will be talking about a movie of

Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Garner,

“Ghost of the Girlfriends Past”

The movie is somewhat related to Charles Dicken’s book “Christmas Carol”, it’s just that this movie focuses on falling in love. Isuper  love this movie ♥

Maybe because it conveys a message that all of us can be true and can fall in love for someone deeply. Despite who we are and how we were before. It also shows that if a person acts that he is bad he will be bad forever. There is a big chance (actually) that he will change especially for the one he really love.

It also made me realize that somewhere out there, there will be that one person who will understand and accept us for who we are. Despite all the wrong doings and mistakes, they will stay and be there for us along the way.

I can also relate to the part where Jennifer Garner almost gave up loving Matthew for she doesn’t know if he can be serious loving her. Why can I relate?? It’s because like Jenny, I am always looking someone (bad) or the “mayabang” guys out there and I want to be someone who will/can make them tame (haha is it the right word???) or at least make them realize that falling in love with someone is one of the best thing that a person could do!!! and like Jenny, I fail.. Ooops but it not yet finish.. at the end of the story Matthew, realizing that Jenny will be gone forever because of ignoring her feelings and for making her feel she was just nothing… Matthew, made his actions. He did win her back and change for the better!! Who could have thought that this very bad guy would turn into a very good one! LOVE IT!

So much inspiring! I hope all “bad guys” out there would be like Matthew

Hear hear! I say. Fashion indeed is an inspiration for all of us. It influences the way we dress and we act. It is also a way to find ourselves in times we don’t actually know who we are.

I love fashion, obviously. I talked about it most of the time. I find it irresistible looking at different designer clothes. Given the chance I would love to create my own designs, my own work of art. The problem is that I don’t know how to draw that is why I admire those people who can sketch the designs they want, those who are able to express their character in terms of fashion.

I was actually “dreaming” of spending a week seeing a new fall fashion this 2010. How about Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York? Isn’t it amazing

Can someone make this dream come true? It would be a great great great graduation gift for me

The Fall 2010 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is in New York City from February 11-18. It is one of four major fashion weeks in the fashion industry and is widely recognized as the world’s premier fashion event. Being at the event is a big deal. Admission is by invitation only, to the fashion industry, fashion press, assorted celebrities, and internet based Fashion press.

It would be a great experience for me if I will attend such event. A dream come true for me. I will be able to see different designs, even though I do not know how to draw at least I will be able to see and meet people who are involve in the fashion industry  Come with me, join me, dream with me ♥

Last January 10, again, with my brother “boy gutom” we watched the movie 500 days of summer.

I was curious about the movie since it had no big promotions and PR, just talk of the mouth and many said it was a great movie.

At first, as we were watching we got confused on how the story goes because the movie skipped from one scene (day) to another. We should really focused on each day so that we can put it together for us to be able to understand the movie.

What I like about the movie are the lessons being convey. You can actually learn a lot from it while watching.

My favourite lesson in the story is when Tom (he was a greeting card message maker) realized that people like him is not supposed to composed messages for other people in order to express their feelings and thoughts. According to him, people should make their own way to show their emotions not by copying messages from other people they do not know.

Another one is when people fall in love they focused their attention to just one person. We tend to ignore other things around us, that is why when we got hurt it is hard for us to move on. Without knowing that sometimes those people who we ignore are the one who will love us back the way we do in the past. Maybe not all people believe in fate or destiny but sometimes it happens in the way that we do not expect it to happen

A remarkable movie for me… lessons learned… maybe it has part 2 since at the end of it Tom met another girl named Autumn. ♥

It’s been a week!

Lately, I’ve been hooked reading a lot about fashion. I browse the net looking for dresses, shoes, bags, accessories, casual and office attire (graduation is coming near, just getting ready). I even read reviews, write ups or even Shopping Quiz about what is all the rage this 2010.

This make me wonder why every time I stop by a mall I can’t help myself entering my favourite boutique. At first, I will just look through the items… but suddenly I will find myself being interested with one item then I will buy it as much as I think it is worth it, in such cases sometimes debt consolidation is much advised especially if you are using credit cards.Ugh! I can’t help it! That is why when I searched the net I look for a Shopping Quiz  where it will identify what kind of shopper I am. It grabbed my attention and I began to answer the questions given. After answering those set of questions I got the result! Guess what! It says, ” I am a Brand Babe” cool

I even got a badge:

It says, I am a Brand Babe, and loyal to the brands that I use. I repeatedly buy from the same brands and when others ask me for shopping advice, I know exactly where to send them. Even if it costs a little bit more to buy from your favorite brands, you consider the money is well worth it.

I love it! Very well said, I think it best explains what kind of personality I have. I am such a loyal person

“WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE”

Last night I watched this movie with my dear brother, “BOSS GUTOM”. He downloaded this movie from the net.  The movie was great! It was actually for children but I liked it. “the child in me”…

The story was all about:

A teen named Max has creative thoughts, and will have attitude problem if others don’t go along with what he wants. He had a lot of tantrums and as an effect of his Mother paying more interest to her boyfriend than to him – he runs away from home. Wearing his wolf costume at the time, Max not only runs away physically, but runs toward a world in his imagination. There was this world, an ocean away, is inhabited by large wild beasts, including one named Carol who is much like Max himself in temperament. Instead of eating Max like they normally would with creatures of his type, the wild things befriend Max after he proclaims himself a king who can magically solve all their problems. They had good times with one another. Until the time that they found out that Max was not really a king. Carol got mad at him. Max decided to went back home. He said his goodbyes to his wild beast friends. As his boat started sailing, Carol ran after him crying. They realized that they were two best friends. Max arrived at their home, her mom was waiting for him. She served a lot of foods for Max, and he ate it. The last part of the movie, as he was eating, her mom fell asleep. This only means that her mom was not sleeping during those times he was not at home.

My favourite part in the film was when Carol is crying! Whew! so amazing, how they managed to make out those tears in those big monster-like creatures. I felt like I end up crying after that scene… A two thumb up for me! I hope there will be a lot of film like this! More more and more ♥

2009 had been a blast for me.

Lot of things happened. Time passed me by so fast.

I want to extend my deepest graditude to all the people who became part of my 2009. Without you guys my 2009 will not be that great and remarkable. LOVE YOU ALL ♥

Now, I’m in a new chapter of my life! WELCOME 2010!

This is my first post for this year

Let me start my year by posting my blog (would this mean I will be posting blogs for the rest of my year? hahaha)

We attended mass at Our Lady of Light Parish in Cainta before we celebrated our New Year’s Eve. After that, we went to my brother’s condominium in Marick, we had our Media Noche there. (Oooops! I ate a lot! )

When the clock strikes 12 we went at the 4th floor of the condominium to watch different fireworks and firecrackers , this is how Filipinos celebrated New Year’s Eve. Honestly, I’m afraid of loud banging. I just appreciated fireworks. As I watch those lights up in the sky I’m actually covering my ears because my brother’s neighbor was lighting a sawa and goodbye philippines firecrackers! SoooOoo creepy!

Almost past 1 am we went home.. no parties for me.. and no alcohol for the eve! I just lay in my bed.. Is this a good thing to start my year?

I’m so excited on what will this year will bring to me…

Would this be great us my 2009 or much better?

Will I be rich or famous? Just kidding

I don’t really have my new year’s resolution.. I just can’t! haha

What I love most about 2010?

Cant wait for March to come (my graduation day)…

Last December 22, I joined my mom in their MAPSA Occular Visit in Tagaytay. They were looking for a place where they will conduct their PressCon (MAPSA school papers) this coming February.

Our first stop, Light of the World Retreat House, the place is good and cool.

Then, we look for a place where we can have our lunch. We went to Olivarez Plaza but we found none.

We end up eating in a restaurant ( i forgot the name :>). We were so loaded after eating soup, tilapia and chopsuey. It tasted great.

We also went to La Salette in Silang Cavite,

the place is so big and looks perfect for picture taking. You can actually appreciate the environment.

They end up choosing the La Salette place for their PressCon.

We arrived home at past 9 because of the traffic. It’ s so nice to explore such wonderful places.
