Tagaytay Trip!

Last December 22, I joined my mom in their MAPSA Occular Visit in Tagaytay. They were looking for a place where they will conduct their PressCon (MAPSA school papers) this coming February.

Our first stop, Light of the World Retreat House, the place is good and cool.

Then, we look for a place where we can have our lunch. We went to Olivarez Plaza but we found none.

We end up eating in a restaurant ( i forgot the name :>). We were so loaded after eating soup, tilapia and chopsuey. It tasted great.

We also went to La Salette in Silang Cavite,

the place is so big and looks perfect for picture taking. You can actually appreciate the environment.

They end up choosing the La Salette place for their PressCon.

We arrived home at past 9 because of the traffic. It’ s so nice to explore such wonderful places.

Lucky I’m in love with my bestfriend!

Finally, the long wait is over.

Last December 15, 2009, 10:00 in the morning at Shrine of Mary, Queen of Edsa, Neil and Niel exchange their vows to be husband and wife, presided by Rev. Msgr.  Arnel F. Lagarejos and their good friend Fr. Leo Luanzon. Reception followed at Valle Verde V Social Hall.

The title above best describes the relationship of the two.

They were good friends since elementary years, ate Jans transferred school when they were in highschool. Again, they met path when they entered college. Both of them studied in the University of the Philippines, Manila. From then on they became good friends. They both transferred from UP Manila to UP Diliman. They had the same course. They became best friends before they decided to be lovers.

They had their civil wedding last Easter sunday, April 12 presided by Mayor Mon Ilagan.

After a decade of being lovers finally they got married! :)

My Passion is Fashion

Talking about fashion, girl like me easily gets addicted to dresses, shirts, skirts, pants, bags and shoes. Especially if those items are very trendy and fashionable. As much as possible I want to be “trend setter” if given the chance.

Being a girl like me is never easy. You always have to worry about how you look because we need to be presentable (all the time) in front of other people. It is very important to know how to carry ourselves with the way we dress and project.

Being incline to fashion is not just only about how we dress. I my case, I am into how my accessories suits my personality and style. Bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings means so much to me. Whenever I don’t wear them I feel like I’m naked at all.

Talking about accessories, I would definitely suggests links london. It is really one of the best. They were actually given the best achievement being the Best Jewelry Brand of the year 2007. What more can you ask for?

Given the opportunity, I would like to buy my accessories at links of london. They have different variants and designs to choose from. Their bracelets, Charms, Necklaces, Chains and Earrings looks so elegant and so pleasing to the eye. It is nice to know that they cater different accessories that could add so much sophistication but still it do not cost too much.

Being passionate about fashion is never an issue, you can manage your self to become attractive without spending too much and worrying on how you look.

One day, I decided to make milk candies (I don’t know how to cook that’s why this is my only specialty where you just actually mix the ingredients). With the help of my dad he accompanied me to Chocolate Lovers factory at Quezon Avenue to buy the ingredients for my polvoron.

I actually had three flavors:
- Cookies and Cream
- Graham Crackers
- Chocolate Dipped

I had fun while making polvoron. I was able to make 16 boxes (6 polvorons/box).
So much happy :) it tastes really good!

I can share with you the steps on how to make a very yummy polvorons 

Ingredients:

2 cups chocolate sandwich cookies or graham, crushed
¾ cup cake or all purpose flour, toasted
½ cup buttermilk powder
½ cup powdered sugar
½ cup butter, melted

Procedure:

Mix crushed cookies, flour, milk powder and sugar in a bowl. Add melted butter and blend well. Mould and refrigerate for 3 to 5 minutes before wrapping

How to Dip in Chocolate:

Melt 250 grans Semi-Sweet chocolate with 1 tbsp. Cocoa Butter Substitute (CBS) over low fire in a double broiler. When melted remove from the fire and start dipping. Let set on a greased proof paper. Pack in desired containers.

Just easy as that you can now have your own Polvorons Specialty :)

The ad also depicts the suave feeling of holiday. Christmas Season is fast approaching and this is the best time for us to show some love.
