“Dear John,” the letter read. And with those words, a heart was broken and two lives changes forever.

I just finished reading the book and i could definitely say and agree that this book is a heartbreaker Nicholas Sparks gave a different tale of a man who made the most difficult decision in his life- in the name of love.

After reading the book i realized three important things in life:

First, life is not fair. It will never be. No matter how good you are at things there will come a time that you’ll sacrifice something you thought you will never do. The things we desire are not always meant for us.

Second, love is not enough. Even two people love each other it does not mean that they should be together. It will hurt, it will definitely break their hearts but they should learn to let go. there is a reason behind that and it is always for the best.

Lastly, i came to realize the real meaning of true love.

-it meant that you care for another person’s happiness more than your own, no matter how hard the decision will be and no matter how painful it is.

When a person broke up with you and he/she tells you that still they love you, believe them. They just make a decision that they think will make you both happy knowing that you will have your separate lives.

Sometimes you really have to let go…

It does not mean that your love for one another will fade away, In your time together, you will claimed a special place in your heart, one you’ll carry with forever and no one can ever replace.

You will definitely meet someone, a person you really love but have to let go…

After letting you will fall in love for someone else but still find yourself loving the person you learn to let go. It just reveal the true meaning of unconditional love.

There are things not meant to be together…

*I read that they will release the movie of dear John by February of 2010, i just hope that they will make the movie as beautifully moving as the book *
