File No. 777- an official entry to PELIKULETRAN 2010
Our film is entitled: “File no. 777”, it is a short film that plays with conspiracy theories, urban legends and events in Philippine history that tells a story of an intern in the Department of Foreign Affairs who becomes the catalyst for the revelation of the biggest cover-up in Philippine history.
The film re-imagines the urban legend on the alleged events after the supposed death of the Philippines’ premiere dictator in 1989 leaving audiences with one question in mind, what if President Ferdinand Marcos is indeed alive. This explains the idea of having the title “File no. 777”.
